Established in 1971, Rechenberg Security and Locksmiths is a well-established, family-run business based in Bundaberg. We specialise in locksmithing, electronic security and alarm monitoring through our own independently graded monitoring centre.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Locksmith to join our full-time team in Bundaberg. This role involves performing a broad range of locksmithing duties across residential, commercial and government sectors while working collaboratively with our existing team.
This position is suited to a qualified locksmith who is committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service. The successful applicant will be confident working both independently and within a team environment.
The role includes:
- Commercial and residential on-road and workshop work
- Installation and repair of locks and door hardware
- Shopfront and restricted key systems
- Automotive transponder cloning and programming
- Designing and maintaining master key systems (Promaster experience preferred)
- Exposure to electronic security and access control systems
Skills, Experience & Requirements
We are seeking someone who:
- Is trade qualified in Locksmithing
- Has strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving ability
- Communicates professionally with customers and team members
- Is competent using locksmith software and equipment
- Can hold and maintain a Queensland Security Adviser’s Licence
- Is willing to participate in an after-hours on-call roster
- Holds a current driver licence
Experience in electronic security and access control systems will be highly regarded.
